Wow....this blog cleared my doubts and now I feel I am not a lone thinker in this matter .
"I too Hate Pune and trying to move out asap". This city is one of the worst in the country Issues with Pune are many and nobody is going to address this in near future. I observed the below problems with in a short time span of one year
1)Culture less natives who doesn't know the word "hospitality" and "respect"
2)Funny Taxation rules
3)Over priced shops and malls
4)Poor Policing and administration
5)Horrible roads with concreting
6)Ridiculous traffic (crowd is behaving like animals on road)
7)No good restaurants and food

To Pune Natives,
Try to change yourself rather than acting as frogs in a small pond. You guys are one of the worst in the country. Please don't think that I am here because I didn't get a job at my home town. To know more about Maharashtra and Pune I chose this city. I have stayed in 11 cities(10 states) in India including four metros .None of the other cities disappointed me this much ......!!!! Except climate , I hate even the flies in Pune (sorry to say this).

Hi to all! Ultimately Its India ... whether its Pune or Mumbai or Neuveo Delhi ...... We are bound to have some bad and good experiences either ....... It has better infrastructure .... though it needs a upgarde - obviously as its growing ...... It has so many good educational institutions, industrial and IT companies ......They have it with them .... however the ingress of outsiders in Pune is getting it to the Muy Mal (Pathetic) level ...
I personally have gone through horrfying experiences in Pune .......... and Let me tell you .... Native People from Pune are very decent and ethical ............. However there are these nearby village people who have come in to Pune and trying to screw its reputation ................ These people dont even have manners to talk with other people around ....... Theres a saying in Marathi and it suits them very well ....."kishat nahi anaa - ani mala bajirav mhana (Praise me like a king though i do not posses a single penny in my wallet)" ............. Rickshaw fellas are the most irritating creatures in Pune .... I just dont understand as why cant they talk patiently and politely ....... If you own a car in Pune .... then its more than enough for you to screw your happiness for always ... even a 2 wheeler for that matter .... its altogether a different matter whether you are at fault or not ..... these villagers are always right ... u dont let them over take and they kick your car badly and go ... try attacking you ...... i just dont understand what they get out of it ....... they always try and mint from you for all these reasons ..... pakka followers of corrupt cops around ..... thats how they work ...... other funniest trend in Pune is ..... anythig goes wrong at the road ... you are suppose to take care of the person in terms of money till the time he gets well .... what the heck.....and they dont care as what as happend to you ... Pune is not going to improve on these fronts .... till the time these bloody unethical villagers come in ....... Otherwise Pune rocks ... it has it all ... and getting more with time ...
